Wayuu Mochilas

More than exquisite craftsmanship, Lombia + Co Wayuu Mochilas tell a handwoven story & represents a tradition of what it is to be a Wayuu woman. Handmade in Colombia taking up to 7 - 15 days to make just one, this weaving skill is taught from mother to daughter as she enters puberty. The uniqueness of each Mochila is that there is often only one of each made, no two are exactly the same. Truly an artform passed on from generation to generation, & exclusively brought to you by The Society.
